Strathgheny  with snow boots on!

Held in "bleak mid-winter," Snowgheny gives us the opportunity to break out our fiddles, play some tunes, and visit with our Scottish fiddling friends - new and old.

Snowgheny is run over Zoom, so whether we are dealing with a global pandemic or 3 feet of snow, we can still get together and share some good music and good craic (news, gossip, fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation).

Taught by Melinda and David, we will work in The Strathgheny Collection along with some guest appearances from some other new tunes.

Like our summertime Strathgheny, Snowgheny will feature classes that teach by ear and through music, a special topic class, and will offer time for socializing.

For those of our friends in different time zones, we will record all of our classes and post them in a private Youtube channel for asynchronous viewing.

Also, for those of you who have not been able to join us in the summer, this is a great way to see what Strathgheny is like and meet everyone!

This year's Snowgheny will be on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
